Though it’s been rumored that Christina Aguilera would be leaving The Voice in the spring 2013 season, we just received confirmation — in the form of a replacement!

According to Entertainment Weekly, the cleavage-happy pop diva will be replaced by Colombian singer Shakira. And while Xtina’s “girls” were the stars of the past three seasons, we hear Shakira’s hips don’t lie.

Another judge making his spring exit will be Ladykiller Cee Lo Green. The loveable pet owner will find his big red chair filled by sexy R&B singer Usher.

Both Cee Lo and Christina are expected to return to the show for next fall’s season in 2013.

NBC executive Mark Burnett spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the new additions:

“Having award-winning artists as coaches means they need to be able to tour,” Mark said. “Whether in the red chair or on tour, our coaches have their chairs for life. This is exactly why, after three seasons, we needed to allow them to rotate out so they can get on the road amongst their fans. Meanwhile, we’re incredibly excited to have singular artists like Usher and Shakira joining the fold.”

We’re excited to see what Usher and Shakira bring to the table, but The Voice just won’t be the same without Christina and Cee Lo! Xtina will be working on promoting her new album, Lotus, and Cee Lo will be developing his new NBC sitcom.

According to EW, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will continue on The Voice at least through the spring season. Phew!
