Team Blake’s Cassadee Pope picked something “more in her wheelhouse,” singing Avril Lavigne’s “I’m With You” on The Voice Season 3 live show tonight, Dec. 3, 2012.

As expected, the pop-rocker’s rendition was effortless, and she was clearly in her element on stage. Cassadee’s performance was particularly theatrical, taking place on top of a fog-covered bridge with an orchestra to back her up.

Coach Cee Lo Green complimented Cassadee’s “physicality,” saying it showed she was truly committed to her performance. Adam Levine called it his favorite performance of Cassadee’s and his favorite of the night. Blake Shelton commended Cassadee’s connection to the song, saying she had “the ability to tell a story,” not to mention “sing really good.”

With the new setup, fans can vote for their favorite contestants by calling in, voting on Facebook or NBC.com, texting (for Sprint users), or by buying their song on iTunes. If you liked Cassadee’s performance, be sure to vote at the end of the show!
