Team Blake‘s Cassadee Pope took a risk by singing a song her coach co-wrote on The Voice Season 3 live show on Nov. 19, 2012, but she delivered with a truly personal rendition of Miranda Lambert's "Over You."
Even though she cried during the performance, she kept it together and delivered an impressive version of the country tune, showcasing her incredible range and versatility.
All of the coaches had great things to say, with Adam even saying that this was the her “best performance” that seemed to suit her the best, but it was Blake’s heartfelt words that made us cry.
“You just sang, easily, the most important and most personal song that I’ve ever been a part of writing in my life, but you made me feel like I was hearing it for the first time, and words can’t express what that means,” Blake explained. “Ladies and gentlemen, you’re looking at an artist standing up here.”
With the new setup, fans can vote for their favorite contestants by calling in, voting on Facebook or NBC.com, texting (for Sprint users), or by buying their song on iTunes. If you liked Cassadee’s performance, be sure to vote at the end of the show!
