After Rascal Flatts endorsed Team Blake’s Cassadee Pope, she returned the favor by singing their hit song “Stand” on The Voice Season 3 live show tonight, Dec. 3, 2012.

Her coach chose the “redemption” song because he knew she could put an interesting pop-rock spin on it, and the young contestant had the crowd waving glow sticks and dancing along as she completely transformed the country tune.

The way that Cassadee belted the notes with ease impressed all of the judges, causing both Christina and Blake to give her a standing ovation.

“I just don’t mind being your co-coach supporter at this point,” the pop diva said with a laugh. “You’re on the money, and it’s a lot to be able to really connect with an audience … you’re an all-around true star of the show.”

Adam gave a bit of constructive criticism, saying he wanted to see something a little more “adventurous, bizarre and different,” but Blake didn’t agree. He said, “I want to continue seeing you do what you do perfectly,” calling it “amazing.”

With the new setup, fans can vote for their favorite contestants by calling in, voting on Facebook or NBC.com, texting (for Sprint users), or by buying their song on iTunes. If you liked Cassadee’s performance, be sure to vote at the end of the show!
