Jesse Campbell, a contestant on Team Christina Aguilera, took the stage on The Voice Season 2 performance show on April 16, 2012 to sing "Halo" by Beyonce.

Adam Levine was concerned at first, saying, "I wasn't feeling the song choice until it kicked in." However, he ended up confessing his admiration for Jesse's talent. "Your ability is so crazy. You can do anything," he added.

Christina was proud of her contestant, pointing out his emotional connection to lyrics.

“I think on an emotional level, you really brought it today," she said. "It was beautiful that you dedicated it to your daughter. It was definitely well put-together with the photos of you two and her being your halo. Beautiful job."
