Team Blake contestant Liz Davis is the only country singer left on the competition, so it was only fitting that she sang Martina McBride’s hit song “Indepdendence Day” during The Voice Season 3 live playoff rounds.

In addition to Cee Lo calling it a “timely” song (because of the election), all of the judges sang her praises. Coach Blake was especially proud, thanking Liz for proving him right and calling her the “right country artist to bring into the live rounds.
