Team Cee Lo’s Mycle Wastman and Nicholas David are an interesting and fitting match, as they’ve both got some old-school flavor to their voices.

Mycle hits an emotional note when he performs “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” by Elton John. Christina praises him for opening up and connecting with the audience, while Cee Lo says his “voice is a breath of fresh air.”

Nicholas David takes a step away from his usual fare when he puts his spin on “Put Your Records On” by Corinne Bailey Rae. Blake calls him truly “special;” Cee Lo adds that he’s both “natural and mystic.”

The artists are in some ways so similar yet still so different, and Cee Lo struggles to make a choice. In the end, it’s Mycle that gets sent home.
