On The Voice Season 3 live shows tonight, Nov. 26, 2012, Team Cee Lo’s Nicholas David put a new spin on Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On.”

The classic song wasn’t easy to tackle, however Nicholas managed to not only perform an amazing rendition, but put his own twists on it. With old school background singers, a wailing saxaphone, and his fantastic keyboard skills, he transformed the tune, impressing the entire crowd and all of the coaches.

Everyone sang his praises, and Adam was even jealous of him! “I’m just going to be a fan of yours forever,” he said with a big grin, and Blake echoed his sentiments, saying, “Thank you for letting The Voice be the stage that introduces you to the world. This is a big deal for the show.”

Cee Lo agreed with all of his fellow coaches, proclaiming his love for Nick and saying how proud he was of the soulful singer.

With the new setup, fans can vote for their favorite contestants by calling in, voting on Facebook or NBC.com, texting (for Sprint users), or by buying their song on iTunes. If you liked Nicholas’s performance, be sure to vote at the end of the show!
