Team Blake’s Terry McDermott tackled Bryan Adams’s classic rock anthem “Summer of ‘69” on The Voice Season 3 live shows on Nov. 19, 2012.

Per his coach’s advice, he interacted with the crowd, even having fun with his band mates. Although we’re used to seeing him in rocker mode, tonight he showed off a different side of himself, and in turn impressed the entire panel of judges.

“I’m not good at conveying my thoughts and feelings … but I think Cee Lo said it best: You remind me of everything I love about rock ‘n roll,” Blake said with a big grin on his face. “You’re doing something that people don’t dare do.”

With the new setup, fans can vote for their favorite contestants by calling in, voting on Facebook or NBC.com, texting (for Sprint users), or by buying their song on iTunes. If you liked Terry’s performance, be sure to vote at the end of the show!
