Tony Lucca, a contestant on Team Adam Levine, took took the stage on The Voice Season 2 performance show on April 9, 2012 to sing "In Your Eyes," by Peter Gabriel.

Tony's former fellow Mouseketeer Christina Aguilera was harsh on the performance, calling it one-dimensional. "I would love to see where you would grow from this stage. I hope this is really a contest about the voice rather than a celebrity sway," she said after revealing that Justin Timberlake is a Tony fan.

Tony's coach Adam acknowledged that he gave his contestant a huge challenge and he applauded Xtina for her honest response, but in the end he couldn't have been more impressed by Tony's performance. "You worked your way around it [the falsetto] in a way that really made me proud," he commented.
