What Is The Voice Brasil? You Asked, We Answered!

Did you know that the American version of The Voice isn’t the only one? In fact, the show originated with The Voice of Holland, which started in 2010, and there’s also a popular U.K. version featuring Jessie J and will.i.am as the celebrity coaches.

But one branch of The Voice franchise that continues to gain popularity is The Voice Brasil. This Brazilian music competition premiered in Sept. 2012 and airs on Sunday afternoons before popular soccer matches.

The Season 1 finale will air on Sunday, Dec. 16, and the show features the blind auditions, battle rounds, and live shows.

The judges include Brazilian singers Lulu Santos, Carlinhos Brown, Claudia Leitte, and Jose Daniel Camillo.
