Remember when Christina Aguilera's amazing vocal performance at the Etta James memorial service in L.A. back on Jan. 28, 2012 didn't get nearly as much attention as the mysterious brown liquid fans spotted dripping down her legs?

At the time, some speculated that Xtina experienced an, um, feminine malfunction, but Us Weekly is setting the record straight.

The pop diva, who sang a beautiful cover of Etta James's classic song "At Last," broke out in a sweat after a bout of stage fright, causing her fresh spray tan to run.

"She sang her heart out. It was a memorial service for her idol and she was nervous," an insider dished to Us. "It was her proudest moment. The sweat caused her spray tan to streak."

So, there you have it, folks. Fergie still holds the award for most embarrassing on-stage bodily-fluid blunder. And yes, we're talking about the time she wet herself.
