On November 16, 2002, a song was released that would define a generation and shape Christina Aguilera’s career forever — “Beautiful.”
Written and produced by Linda Perry, “Beautiful” was the second single to be released off Christina’s Stripped album. The song peaked at No. 2 on the U.S. Hot 100 chart and has been featured on hit reality shows and Glee.
The diva has been performed the inspirational ballad at numerous award shows, and is regarded as one of her best songs to date.
Christina recently sang the hit song at the televised benefit for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in Nov. 2012, and sounded as good — if not better — than when it was released 10 years ago!
