Which Voice Coach Hates Cee Lo Green's Cat Purrfect?
Though he’s known for telling it like it is, we think he’s gone too far this time. It’s one thing to eliminate one of our favorite contestants, but to insult the feline who is basically The Voice’s mascot, Purrfect the Cat, is another thing.
"I don't like cats, so I stay away," said Blake Shelton in a recent interview. "I love Cee Lo, but I avoid him when he’s holding that smelly cat."
Hmm, maybe he’s just a dog person?
"I do remember in Season 1, I remember when [Cee Lo] actually had the idea to have the cat. I remember him saying, to me, into my ear hole, 'I want a cat. I want to be able to sit here and pet a cat while I’m on The Voice.' "
Personally, we adore Purrfect’s furry antics. His Twitter feed provides us with a daily laugh and fresh cat puns (who doesn’t need those?), and seeing big, lovable Cee Lo Green cradling this princess makes The Voice even more entertaining (if that’s possible).
Purrfect wasn’t available for comment, but we don’t think she’ll be clapping her paws together for Blake's contestants anytime soon.
