The premiere of The Voice Season 4 on March 25 introduced us to two powerhouse sisters with more than just their beauty in common. The Morgan Twins, who wowed all four judges with their soulful rendition of Alicia Keys' "Fallin'", share everything — and now, Cara and Rhian Morgan will share the stage of NBC's hit music competition as members of Team Blake Shelton.
The Morgan Twins, 27, may look like your average girls next door, but these blonde bombshells are practically seasoned professionals. Their foray into music began at the age of 14 when they created a '60s-style girl band in Rochester, N.Y. called "IT'S MY PARTY!" and continued through high school when they appeared on Season 2 of American Idol at the age of 17.
Singing Alicia Keys' "Fallin'" (yes, again), they made it past the first few rounds with flying colors. Though they failed to advance beyond Hollywood Week, the twins gained invaluable experience that catapulted them to the next phase of their career.
One of their biggest career highlights includes opening for LeAnn Rimes in 2011 and singing the National Anthem before a hockey game in Rochester — all the while getting advanced degrees. Impressive!
Though The Morgan Twins clearly have a taste for R&B songs (they sang Alicia Keys twice, after all) they have a natural penchant for country. Listen to Cara rock out with Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats."
A quick peek at the Twins' joint Instagram account reveals that they share a pet bulldog, affectionately called Snot, and they always (and we mean always) dress in matching outfits. Double the pleasure, double the fun … right, Blake?
