Boldly declaring that they wanted to "punch America in the face with rock ‘n’ roll," The Shields Brothers made good on their claim from the instant they stormed the stage.

According to their Facebook page, the brothers, who proudly include an exclamation point in their band name, live by one mantra: fun — and they made sure everyone could see it as they sang.

While judge Blake Shelton described them instead as "chaos," either way, they had the crowd on their feet from the opening roar of Billy Idol’s "Dancing With Myself."

Hailing from the small town of Rixeyville, Va., these real-life back woods brothers, Tristan and Devin, have made it their mission to rock out, no matter if they’re still doing it in the garage of their parent’s farm home.

Describing themselves as "young, good looking and inexperienced," the brothers have been making the rounds, playing at venues, ranging from birthday parties to bull riding competitions.

Despite not having gained much commercial success in the two years that they’ve officially been a rock duo, they’re determined to make their mark. Citing influences ranging from Bret Michaels to No Doubt, The Shields Brothers' edgy tone and flair for the dramatic earned them a spot on Cee Lo Green’s team, where they’re hoping to prove their rock chops to America.

What do you think of The Shields Brothers? Rock 'n' roll? Or rocky start?
