As a pop diva, Christina Aguilera is used to being the center of the universe. But does she consider herself to be the most important person alive today? Far from it.

In a recent interview with ABC News, Xtina gave a surprising answer to the question.

“My son Max,” she said, “because he continues to grow and evolve and explore with no regard. He is fearless like most kids are and that is a beautiful thing.”

Aww! What a cute answer.

The 31-year-old mother gave birth to her son, Max Liron Bratman, in January 2008. The tiny tot is now 4, but still has a big presence in the musician’s life.

“As a child, I knew I wanted to make music, to perform, and to move people with music,” she said. “I still aspire to to the same, but now I also think of someone else: my son. So I aspire to be the best mom I can while still following my childhood dreams.”

And Xtina and Max will get plenty of quality time together when she takes her leave of absence from The Voice this spring.
