Though the 12 remaining contestants on The Voice Season 3 are all driven and determined to make it to the finals, the real competition exists between the four celebrity coaches.

For the first time this season, the final four contestants won’t necessarily be one from each coach’s team. Starting this week, the bottom two contestants will be sent home — regardless of what team they’re on.

This means it’s more important than ever for the coaches to build the best teams possible. So going into the live performances of the Top 12, which coach has the strongest team?

Is it the pop-focused trio from Team Christina of Sylvia Yacoub, Adriana Louise, and Dez Duron? We think not. We were shocked to see De’Borah get the boot in last Thursday’s results show in favor of Brooklyn singer Adriana, and Sylvia’s live show performance was the only noteworthy one. The Egyptian singer might make it to the finals, but unless it’s a beauty contestant, we don’t think the other two stand a chance.

As per usual, Team Cee Lo is one of the most eccentric this season. Once again, the predicted winner, Trevin Hunte, hails from Team Red Zone. But as we saw last season with Juliet Simms, predictions don’t always come true. Trevin’s been stuck in the same inspirational ‘90s ballads category, so to really shine, he’ll have to step outside the “my middle school teacher didn’t like me, so now I sing out against the haters” box.

Nicholas David made it through with America’s vote last week, but his wild style might not be mainstream enough to gain a real following. And while we love Cody Belew’s hilarious antics and versatility as an artist, we’re not sure he’s memorable enough for America’s vote.

It’s hard to pick between Team Adam and Team Blake as the winner. Adam’s “steal” of Amanda Brown basically secured him a spot in the Final 4, but Blake’s overall team is stronger than the Maroon 5 rocker’s.

We love Bryan Keith’s gritty, classic rock sound on Team Adam, but his song choices are getting — in the words of Christina Aguilera — one-dimensional. Blake’s built a strong, rockin’ team with the soulful Michaela Paige, pop punk princess Cassadee Pope, and classic rocker Terry McDermott.

So if we had to pick the strongest team going into the Top 12, it would be Team Blake, but Adam’s got the goods to take this thing all the way, too.

Who do you think has the strongest team in the Top 12? Tell us below!
