Who Is Indie Rocker Juliet Simms from The Voice Season 2?

Like many on last night’s Voice stage, rocker Juliet Simms is no newcomer to the world of performing. She starting touring at age 16 and was lead singer and guitarist of the band Automatic Loveletter.

In addition to performing, Juliet is also a songwriter whose songs have been produced by Richie Zito, a writer and producer for Elton John, the Motels, and Heart.

The performer became a “Featured Artist” on Myspace when her songs “Someday” and “Make-up Smeared Eyes” received lots of attention from the website’s users.

Juliet’s song “Old Movie” was featured as the closing song on the season finale of 2006’s The Real World: Key West on MTV.

Automatic Loveletter recorded in 2007 with producer Matt Squire who has worked with Panic! At The Disco, Boys Like Girls, and Cute Is What We Aim For. But it wasn’t until 2010 when the band worked with RCA, that their first album, Truth or Dare, was released.

The gravely singer wowed the judges with her performance of “Oh! Darling” by The Beatles and sparked a brawl between Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera. Attempting to steer clear of the drama, Juliet picked judge Cee Lo Green.

What do you think of this artist’s career? Does she have a shot at the top prize?

For more info on Juliet, keep up with her on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
