We've fallen head-over-stilettos for The Voice Season 4 contestant Sasha Allen, the 30-year-old New York City native who blew the coaches away during her blind audition. This part-time performer and full-time mom started singing at the tender age of 14 at the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts in the Big Apple, and got her first chance of stardom when she was signed to Elektra and Arista Records. Unfortunately, Sasha's record deal fell through, but it was a blessing in disguise!
This gal quickly realized she looks amazing on-camera, and was cast as Dee in the cult classic Camp. In fact, Sasha's rendition of “How Shall I See You Through My Tears” opened the movie
Since making a name for herself on the big screen, Sasha has lent her stellar vocals as a backup singer for the likes of Voice coach Christina Aguilera (Sasha was featured in Xtina's Back to Basics tour), John Legend, David Bowie, Alicia Keys, and The Voice's newest coach, Usher, to name a few.
But that's not all! Sasha took some time away from being a mom (she has two adorable kids) to star as Dionne in the West End production of Hair at the Gielgud Theatre in London. Talk about a go-getter! This lovely lady hopes to become world famous thanks to The Voice, but she's one step ahead of the competition. This gal released her first single, "Let's Fly Away," in 2008, and as you might expect it's sensational.
We have a feeling Sasha will bring her A-game to Team Adam, but does this industry veteran have what it takes to win The Voice? Check her out on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook and tell us what you think!
