According to The Voice judge Shakira and her legal team, hips may not lie, but ex lovers often do.
After being hit with a lawsuit for $100 million by her ex-lover Antonio de la Rua, Shakira has struck back.
Antonio claims that he is largely responsible for her massive earnings as an international superstar due in large part to his role as her manager and the lucrative deals he struck on her behalf.
But Shakira vehemently disagrees with these claims stating that even though she got his advice on some decisions, he was never in a managerial role for her, nor was any legal documentation drafted stating that he was.
But there is one thing they signed together evidently and that was an agreement 7 years ago in Colombia that should the two ever split up that they would each keep their own assets. So much for that thinking though, right?
Shakira wants and expects that lawsuit to be thrown out immediately.
