We’re excited for The Voice Season 4 to kick off, but something will be noticeably absent in the spring: Christina Aguilera.

Sadly, our favorite pants-hating, hair dye-loving diva is leaving the show, with Colombian singer, Shakira, set to replace her.

But fear not, Xtina fans — this is only temporary! The starlet and fellow coach Cee Lo Green are taking a leave of absence to work on their careers. For the pop diva, that means promoting her new album, Lotus, and for the Lady Killer, it’s all about his new NBC comedy.

While we don’t know how long the duo will be gone, Shakira and R&B singer Usher will be taking their places in the spinning red chairs for at least one season. Filming for Season 4 is already underway, and both Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have already raved about the new additions.

However, we doubt that Xtina will allow Shakira to replace her forever. She recently told E! News that in order for her the best coach she can, she has to “be able to have the experience as an artist … create new experiences for myself so that I can then come back to the show and share that much more."

Well, we’ll be anxiously awaiting her return! Will you watch The Voice without Xtina? Sound off below!
