This California stud originally made a name for himself as a model, but now Josiah Hawley is ready to be taken seriously as a singer-songwriter. The Fort Smith, Ark native is a married man (sorry, ladies!), revealing during his blind audition that he met his wife while studying at Belmont University.
But does this aspiring singer have what it takes to win over the hearts of America? Only time will tell!

For his blind audition, Josiah tackled coach Adam Levine’s popular tune, “Sunday Morning," earning himself a three-chair turn, including one from Adam himself.
Adam critiqued the rendition a bit, but noted the special quality in his voice. Blake sucked up to Josiah, calling him "badass" and complimenting his thick head of hair. Usher went with a more sensible approach, offering his services as a mentor. Shakira chimed in screaming, "Well said, Usher!"
Josiah ultimately chose R&B superstar Usher, much to Adam's shock and dismay.
On April 16, Josiah battled Jeff Lewis with the Police’s classic hit "Roxanne." Both men looked mighty handsome, but it was Josiah's voice that left a lasting impression on the coaches and Usher had no choice but to send Jeff packing.
Josiah took a major chance on April 30 with a stripped-down version of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black.” The coaches were pretty torn between Josiah and his competitor, Jess Kellner, but ultimately Usher picked Josiah to advance to the live shows.
On May 6, the former male model impressed with “Starlight” by MUSE. Josiah nailed his performance and even received a standing ovation from his coach. Unfortunately, America wasn't head-over-heels for his performance and he landed in the bottom two. But Usher used his final save on the 27-year-old, sending Cathia back home instead.
Live Shows (May 13):
Josiah finally found his sweet spot on May 13 with "The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” by The Script. He struggled a bit in rehearsals with some of the sharp notes, but his on-stage performance was virtually flawless (and it didn't hurt either that he looked swoon-worthy in a sexy white tee!). In fact, his coach Usher likened him to a younger Adam Levine. Whoa there, Ush!
