This American-Canadian singer-songwriter is bringing a “thick” résumé to Season 2 of The Voice. Robin has written songs for Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Mary J. Blige, and Pharrell. In 2002, Robin released his first single, “When I Get You Alone,” which remixed Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and was featured on the soundtrack of the film Agent Cody Banks.

His second album, The Evolution of Robin Thicke, featured Robin’s hit singles “Wanna Love U Girl” and “Lost Without U.” The latter went to number one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list.

Robin was the first white male artist to top that chart since George Michael.  His album reached the number five spot on the Billboard 200 list and number one on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Robin’s third album Something Else came out in 2008 and peaked at number three on the charts. The album’s first single, “Magic,” was used in the Miss Universe 2008 competition. Robin’s fourth album, Sex Therapy, came out in 2009 and featured tracks with artists Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj.

In 2011 Robin toured with Jennifer Hudson for a second time and released his fifth studio album, Love After War. He also performed on 2012’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Robin is currently serving as a vocal mentor on Team Adam.
