It's been a whirlwind week for The Voice Season 2 winner Jermaine Paul. After being crowning "The Voice" a week ago today, he's been on a press tour interviewing and performing along the way.
Yesterday he appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show to talk about his journey and coach Blake Shelton. When asked about his unusual decision to pick Blake for his coach, Jermaine said it was a natural decision for him.
"Blake is like a man man, and I consider myself a man man," Jermaine said.
"I think Adam and Cee Lo will be offended by that," Ellen joked.
"No offense to them. They're great artists," Jermaine said. "[Blake] was just so genuine, and he challenged me up there."
Jermaine admitted he was shocked at his first place spot.
"I honestly thought I was going to be number four and when they called number four I thought I was going to be number three," he said.
