Apparently an ass, for starters.

Britney Spears has signed on as one of two new judges for the second season of The X Factor (the other being Demi Lovato), and America’s Got Talent judge Howard Stern has already set her up to fail.

Howard dissed Britney and her new TV gig on his show this week, saying (via VH1), “I think that we’re going to tune in to see if she can function through the thing. As far as any real criticism, I think Simon [Cowell] and L.A. Reid will be doing that. I think Britney is going to stand there and eat a lollipop and wear a sexy outfit. I don’t anticipate great opinions from her.”

Shut your mouth, man. Brit Brit is sacred, and we’re sure she has an endless fount of wisdom to offer her proteges. Besides, the schoolgirl thing is so 1999.
