Stacy Francis ''Deeply Regrets'' Her Altercation With Whitney Houston

X Factor contestant Stacy Francis is speaking out about her run-in with late music legend Whitney Houston last week, which occured just two days before her death. The two were seen getting into a heated argument after Whitney spotted boyfriend Ray J chatting it up with Stacy at Tru Hollywood Nightclub on February 9.

A witness told RadarOnline that Whitney began screaming, "This is my man! I'm a cougar! B*tch, get away from my man!" Ray J then tried to calm Whitney down but to no avail. Whitney then shoved Stacy, who shoved her back. "People were pleading for Whitney to chill out. It was embarrassing," the witness said.

Photogs later caught Whitney leaving the club with what appeared to be blood running down her leg, a possible outcome of the scuffle.

The altercation became big news when Whitney was found dead in her hotel room on February 11.

Stacy took to Twitter on Sunday, February 12,  to express her regret about the situation.

“This is a sad time for me. I loved Whitney Houston with all my heart,” she tweeted. “She was such an amazing musical influence for me." Adding, "I deeply regret the events that led to Thursday’s misunderstanding, but I respect and love her more than I can say.”

Stacy then offered her condolences to the family, as well as how she'll always remember the late superstar.

“At this painful time, I would like to express my support and most sincere condolences to Whitney’s family in learning of her sudden death,I will always remember her to be a deeply humane person and wish her spirit to rest in peace.”
