Steve Jones won't be returning as host of The X Factor USA. We first learned about it from his Twitter account.

His short term as host was pestered with rumors that he didn't connect with audiences and that his accent alienated him from American viewers. For the record, we liked him. The show was difficult to host and he didn't get a lot of support or respect from the judges. His tweet (above) was characteristically classy. Good luck, Steve.
