Tate Stevens on Thanksgiving X Factor Performance About His Dad: “It’s About Hope” — Exclusive

Get ready for heartbreak, ladies of America:  X Factor Season 2 finalist Tate Stevens is happily married — to his high school sweetheart, no less. During X Factor’s “Diva” performances on November 14, 2012, Tate sang a cover of Shania Twain’s “From This Moment On,” an emotional ballad he then dedicated to his wife, Ashlie.

Speaking exclusively to Wetpaint Entertainment during The X Factor Season 2 Top 10 party on November 19, 2012, Tate revealed his plans for his Thanksgiving week performance:

Well, I can't give away too much of it. It's about a family member, and it's a country song. So, spoiler alert, it's a country song. I hope people get it, and I think they will. It's kind of a simple message. It's about hope, how I am, and why I am that way.
