From Carly's audition — when she sang Nina Simone's classic song — we had no doubt she's going to go far. Apparently, Demi Lovato (and American voters) haven't ever doubted it, either. After her audition, Demi told Carly, "I see you winning this competition easily."
A win for Carly would be a win for Demi, too. But she wasn't the only judge blown away by the 13-year-old actress and singer's confidence. Britney told her she is "a little diva," L.A. called her an old soul and a star, and Simon claimed she was lying about her age.
Turns out Carly has been singing and acting for quite awhile. She's sung the national anthem at tons of sporting events, appeared in the movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, and has performed in musicals and plays including Les Miserables and Little House on the Prairie.
