First, when we heard that Britney Spears was mentoring the 17-24 year olds, it made sense to us. After all, girlfriend has a huge fan base in that demographic and had some of her hottest moments while she was living in that age range (hello, “Slave 4 U”).

Then came the photos leaked from the post-bootcamp judges’ house sessions, which seem to show some pretty obvious shots...

Woah. Woah. Woah. Hold the phone. Shut the front door.

We heard whispers a few weeks back that the mentoring groups were all set. Demi, whose star rose first among the tween set, was an apparent lock to work with her main demographic: 12-16 year olds.

Apparently, not so much.
