Tia and Tamera Mowry Caught in L.A. Earthquake — Are They OK?
Big news this morning of a magnitude 4.4 earthquake (downgraded from an original 4.7 grade) that originated six miles from Beverly Hills around 6:45 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Times. Our girls Tia and Tamera Mowry were among the L.A.-based celebs that were rocked (quite literally!) from their beds this morning and we are thankful they're OK!
"I was just shaken out of my bed!!" tweeted Tia. "Was scared so scared. This was a big one. #earthquake we are fine.." She tweeted soon after that she was still shaking but that her 2-year-old son Cree was still fast asleep. Must be nice that the little lad's sweet dreams weren't interrupted! Tia's sister Tamera also updated the Twitterverse with her morning feelings, albeit slightly shorter and to the point: "Earthquake. Whoa."
Like many news stations, Twitter has been buzzing since the shake as other L.A.-based celebs chime in with their accounts of the eventful morning. Lots of mommas out there are worried about their babies while the babies but thankfully it sounds like most of the little ones slept right through the quake!
Birdie just said about the earthquake, "it actually might just be leprechauns." Amazing.
