Christmas 2015 is just a week away and thanks to producer Timbaland, we’ve got one more reason to be excited for the day.

In addition to wearing our favorite ugly Christmas sweaters, chugging eggnog, and unwrapping gifts, it seems like we’ll have new music to add to our repertoire from the late singer Aaliyah.

The mega-producer and rapper took to social media to tease the wonderful news.

“12-25-15 one song a lifetime full of joy!!!!!! for me !!!!! Miss u babegirl!!!!!!!” Timbo captioned the photo.

It’s been over 14 years since Aaliyah lost her life in a tragic plane accident, and the music world has definitely missed her.

Love of the perished singer has led to several of her songs being sampled by the likes of Chris Brown and Drake, as well as a made-for-TV biopic, Aaliyah: Princess of R&B.

Timbo has been promising never-before-released music from singer, and we’re glad he’s taking his cues from Santa, and treating us this holiday season.

Aaliyah’s track will be featured on Tim’s upcoming mixtape, King Stays King, dropping Christmas day.
