TNT Cancels Southland and Monday Mornings

The future of two TNT dramas has gone south.

The network has announced that it is canceling cop drama Southland and medical drama Monday Mornings, according to The Wrap.

TNT had saved Southland after NBC canceled it following its first season in 2009.

The show which featured The OC star Benjamin McKenzie aired for four seasons on TNT.

"TNT has made the difficult decision not to renew Southland for another season," the network says in a statement. "We are enormously proud of Southland, which stands as one of the best police dramas ever made."

The writing was certainly on the walls about the show, as Ben had already joined the cast of the CBS pilot The Advocates, and Regina King is on the ABC pilot Divorce: A Love Story.

Monday Mornings starred Ving Rhames and Alfred Molina and was created by producer extraordinaire David E. Kelley from a book by Sanjay Gupta. It debuted earlier this year and aired 10 episodes.

Will you miss these two shows?
