Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker, and Their Daughters Complete ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

After putting it off for some time now, Kandi Burruss is finally ready to tackle the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star announced earlier in the week that she had been nominated by a few friends to get drenched in the name of a good cause, but had been putting off the chilly challenge until she could have her hair done.

It looks like her coif is finally perfectly prepped for a healthy heaping of ice water, because she not only tackled the challenge, she got her whole family in on the cause!

First, hubby Todd Tucker took an ice bath, challenging a number of friends, including RHoA castmate Apollo Nida and the entire population of New York’s Bronx borough.

Next, Kandi showed what she was made of, challenging a number of her RHoA co-stars, friends, and the entire cast of A Mother’s Love.

“Here it is!” she writes. “#ALS #icebucketchallenge I challenge@phaedraparks @neneleakes @kingdomlos#AMothersLove cast @itsmeelah@shirleymurdock4real @yagirldwoods.... I didn't get it on camera but @donjuannc@tamera_wynn@camcambi @4kwame @jamar_west06 I'm challenging y'all too! @derekjhair is on his way to save the day! #blackgirlproblems #ineedmyhairdone.”

Finally, it was time for the kids to get in on the action. Todd’s daughter Kaela and Kandi’s daughter Riley teamed up to get doused together, but, in the name of keeping their hair fresh, made sure their strands were covered by shower caps before getting soaked.

“#blackgirlproblems,” jokes Kandi of their style.

We’re glad to see this adorable family get in on a good cause — and now, with nominations from both Kandi and Kim Zolciak, it seems as though NeNe Leakes will have no choice but to join in on the fun!

What do you think of Kandi and Todd’s contribution to the Ice Bucket Challenge? Sound off in the comments!
