Todd Tucker Opens Up About Mama Joyce’s “Streetwalker” Comments
Todd Tucker may be the quiet type, but if you talk badly about his mama, you better believe you’re going to get an earful.
Todd and wife Kandi Burruss sat down with Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen to discuss just exactly how he felt about hearing that his future mother-in-law had accused the woman who brought him into the world of being a sex worker.
While the incident caused plenty of drama between Mama Joyce and Todd’s mom, Sharon, on Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Wedding, Todd revealed that he didn’t even know about Mama Joyce’s diss until after the fact.
“It’s been tough for my mom to watch the show,” admitted Todd. “She’s really mad.”
“Kandi didn’t tell me,” he continued. “I was like, ‘Did Kandi just lie to me? My future wife?’ It was really bad. It was tough.”
Despite the drama that unfolded between the moms before the wedding, it looks as though the two remained sufficiently civil to see Todd and Kandi get married. It’s like they always say — you don’t know true awkwardness until somebody calls someone else a streetwalker during your wedding ceremony!
Do you think Kandi should have told Todd about Mama Joyce’s comments earlier? Are you surprised that he remained so level-headed about the whole thing?
