We've gotten used to the constant storm of conflict on Real Housewives of New Jersey, but after five seasons together, it seems that the fierce fivesome is finally getting along. The gals sat down with the folks over at NorthJersey.com at an NYC restaurant recently to discuss Season 5 and whether or not the peace will continue.
In a nutshell, they all agreed that the producers' editing and choice of material that airs doesn't always tell the story how it is. But Kathy Wakile is determined to not let the show confuse her.
"You've got to be really confident and know in your heart that you did come to a good place," she commented.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Laurita points out that the show has contributed to the good, as well as the bad. "The show might be responsible for some of the fighting, but the show is also responsible for bringing us together because if it wasn't for the show and having us there, we would've probably gone separate ways and that would've been it," she theorized.
Sisters-in-law Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice feel that social media plays a part in the drama, too.
"Sometimes they twist it and make it worse than it is," Teresa said, while Melissa complained, "When you're fighting they don't like it and when you're getting along they're like, 'Boring!'"
The question is, will this rare era of harmony still be in place for the Season 5 Reunion? Caroline Manzo is stumped by the inquiry.
"We don't know the story that's gonna be told. So to say if we're gonna be in this same place four months from now, it's an impossible question to answer," she offers.
