Top Chef Renewed For Season 12 — It’s Not Gonna Pack Up Its Knifes and Go!
Sharpen your knives, cheftestants! Bravo's Emmy-winning cooking competition Top Chef is coming back for Season 12 — the network announcing the delicious news today, January 30.
Even better, the producers are holding open casting calls as early as February 18, hitting up Dallas, Atlanta, New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles — in hopes of finding the latest and greatest culinary aspirants. Over the past decade, hosts Padma Lakshmi and Tom Colicchio have crowned many talented winners, all of whom have seen their careers skyrocket with the validation of the critically-acclaimed show — for example, Season 1 champ Harold Dieterle has opened three New York City restaurants; Season 4 victor Stephanie Izard has two in Chicago; and Season 8 top dog Richard Blais has two in Atlanta.
And another name will join the lofty lineup next week — as Top Chef Season 11 is nearly ready to name its winner. The the second and last episode of the Maui-set finale airs Wednesday, February 5, at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
