Though Tori Spelling has remained mostly quiet since news broke that husband Dean McDermott had reportedly stepped outside of their eight-year marriage, it looks like she’s finally ready to open up. So much so, in fact, that the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star is allowing Lifetime cameras to tape her and Dean interacting at his rehab facility for a rumored sex addiction.
Tori was spotted arriving at Dean’s treatment center this week with the couple's upcoming reality show film crew in tow. While there, she was seen having a chat with her estranged hubby while the cameras caught the whole thing on tape.
The couple has not revealed the true cause for Dean’s admission into treatment. However, the reality husband, 47, did give the following statement to People back in January, following reports that he had cheated on his wife with a 28-year-old while doing a gig in Canada late last year:
“I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I’ve caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”
According to Lifetime, Tori and Dean’s docuseries, True Tori, will premiere on April 22, and will focus on the actress, her family, and whether her and Dean’s marriage will survive. The press release says the mother of four “has made the courageous decision to allow the audience to witness the most difficult and unpredictable period in her life.”
We can’t imagine being in Tori’s shoes, but if she thinks this will help her work things out, good for her!
