American Idol Tour Tickets Sales Down Over 300 Percent From Last Year

With the steady decline in American Idol ratings throughout season 12, it came as no surprise that there was talk of a huge show and cast revamp. Now a report has surfaced that ticket resales for American Idol Live! 2013 tour are down 347 percent! The data was compiled by StubHub and shared via The Hollywood Reporter, and the statistics were quite intriguing:

That is quite shocking about Carrie, especially compared to the original Idol winner Kelly, as we would have guessed they’d be fairly on par with each other. This backs up our thought, however, that Carrie would be an ideal person to join Jennifer Hudson at the judges’ table.

There have been rumors of an all-alum panel this year, and we actually rather like that idea. There was also a rumor that the panel might get back to its original number of three judges, which we also think is a smart move. With four judges, they end up repeating one another, and the last one usually gets cut off (right, dahlings?).

Our dream team of American Idol judges? That would be Carrie, J-Hud, and Adam. They are big stars but not so huge that they distract from the talent (cough cough...Mariah Carey...cough cough).

What would your American Idol 2014 dream panel look like?
