Pretty Little Liars’ Troian Bellisario Celebrates Exiles Premiere With Shane Coffey! (PHOTO)

There’s one secret Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario (Spencer Hastings) has no intention of keeping: her excitement and pride over the creation of her very own short film, Exiles. Troian wrote, produced, and acted in the short with some of her USC chums, and has kept the Interweb updated of their progress every step of the way. Now the film is finished, appearing in film festivals and, apparently, theaters. Check out the adorable pic Troian just posted of herself and her crew of “boys” at the film’s theater premiere.

“My boys. WE MADE A MOVIE! #exiles,” Troian tagged the photo. In it, Troian (complete with mega-watt smile of happiness) stands with her arms around director Tommy Bertelson, cinematographer Igor Kropotov, and co-star Shane Coffey (PLL’s very own Holden Strauss!). The gang is standing outside a movie theater that has the name of their short film, Exiles, up in lights.

The film is a brutal reimagining of Romeo and Juliet or, more accurately, an imagining of what might have happened to the young lovers if they had escaped and lived in exile together. Exiles is set in “the hostile landscape of an endless desert” where Troian plays Juliet and Shane her Romeo. Judging by the trailer, things don’t work out much better for the couple in this Shakespeare-inspired short than they do in its source material. Still, we can’t wait to see it! For those lucky enough to live in the San Diego area, Exiles will be showing at the San Diego Film Festival on October 4.

Are you as proud of Troian as we are? Sound off in the comments below!
