In honor of next week’s noir-inspired, black-and-white Pretty Little Liars episode, Troian Bellisario (Spencer Hastings) has turned her Instagram page black-and-white! In addition to shots from her current everyday routine, she’s also sharing sneak peeks from behind the scenes of Season 4, Episode 19 (“Shadow Play”). Check out this stunning selfie she took while in full ‘40s style.

“Detail of hair and make up for the transformation of Spencer in ‘shadowplay’ #pll #pllgoesnoir#pllblackandwhite,” Troian captioned the gorgeous snapshot of herself with pin curls, doe eyes, and dramatic lipstick. Basically, she would have fit right in in the 1940s.

This isn’t the only photo Troian took behind the scenes of the special episode. Earlier this week, both she and co-star Keegan Allen (Toby) shared this beautiful photograph of Keegan behind the wheel of a classic vehicle, looking dangerously mysterious in era hat and suit...

“Shot by @sleepinthegardn behind the scene of the upcoming black-and-white episode Tune In to see all the color sucked right out,” Keegan captioned the photo. Troian wrote this to accompany her black-and-white version of the photo: “One of my favorite pictures I've ever taken.@keeoone#pll #pllgoesnoir #pllblackandwhite.” From the looks of this magnificent promo, there’s plenty more where that came from!

Though we agree that Troian’s shot of Keegan is one of her best, we’re also fond of this one she took of Lucy Hale (Aria) between scenes. In it, the actress is sitting on a curb, looking away from the camera, and it’s totally gorgeous. “Little @lucyhale rests between takes of "Shadowplay"#pll #pllgoesnoir #pllblackandwhite,” Troian captioned the shot. Regardless of how well this episode goes over, it will be worth it just for the behind-the-scenes shots that came out of its filming.
