Amelia Rose Blaire is one of the newest faces to join True Blood Season 6, cast as Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell's daughter, Willa Burrell.

This American actress caught the acting bug early, when she played a tap dancer in her middle school’s production of Bye, Bye Birdie. Amelia has dual citizenship in the USA and France, speaks French and Spanish — and reportedly does a mean Southern accent.

She also trained at the prestigious Atlantic Acting School Conservatory in LA & NYC (founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy), as well as spending time at The British American Drama Academy and the Sanford Meisner Center. Amelia continues to hone her skills by studying with Oscar-nominated actress Lindsay Crouse.

Blaire has had plenty of great guests spots on shows like Grimm, The Glades, Touch, Drop Dead Diva, and Royal Pains, but if this young dark-haired beauty looks familiar, you probably spotted her on several episodes of the CW’s 90210 as bad girl Laura Mathison.

In addition to her slated role on True Blood, the actress has landed starring roles in feature films Commencement, which is currently making the festival circuit, and the upcoming Angels in Stardust with Alicia Silverstone (also titled Jesus in Cowboy Boots).

We can’t wait to see how Amelia takes on the juicy role of a vampire sympathizer going against her daddy’s wishes on Season 6 of True Blood!
