Sarah Newlin made her triumphant, big-haired return to True Blood, and the showdown between her and her hubby-turned-gay-vampire, Steve Newlin, did not disappoint. She promised her ex that she would get her Fellowship Of the Sun-esque revenge on vampires of which she’d always dreamed. Dressed in sassy and symbolic red, we know we’re in for plenty more great stuff from this character. In fact, Anna Camp, the actress who plays Sarah, promises an “epic human versus vampire battle this season.”

As one can only imagine, things can get a bit physical on the True Blood set. In a recent interview with Vulture.com, the petite but fiery blonde revealed how she got the injury that sent her to the emergency room.

“Towards the end of the season, Sarah finds herself in a very physical situation, a very confrontational situation, and I was doing a bit of my own stunt work. I was fortunate to have a great, great stuntwoman with me, but during one of the takes, I rolled, I was on the ground, and I hit my head,” Anna dished.

Adhering to her incredible work ethic, Anna initially tried to shake off the injury, not even telling her castmates about it. Eventually, though, she realized there was no avoiding it.

As she revealed to Vulture.com, “About fifteen minutes later, I started getting very nauseous and dizzy. So we went to the emergency room as just a precaution — but in my whole wardrobe and giant hair, which was exciting! Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. It turns out that I had a minor concussion, but I'm totally okay! I just had to relearn how to tie my shoes. [Laughs.] Just kidding!”
