We Truebies have been waiting with bated breath (and frankly an unhealthy amount of anxiety) to find out who dies on Season 6 of True Blood. The death has been confirmed by showrunner Brian Buckner, and it will happen before the end of the season. There are only six episodes left, and oh how we wish we knew who it was so we could properly pre-mourn. BTW, did anyone notice that in the episode guide for season six one of the episodes used to be entitled “The Funeral,” and now there is no such title? Things that make us Truebies go hmmm...

After watching the salty and sultry Pam get nabbed by the Anti-Vampire League, everyone is likely wondering whether it will be the acid-tongued vamp who will meet the true death. At first we thought this wasn’t possible, as TV guru and TVLine.com writer Michael Ausiello answered a True Blood fan’s recent inquiry by saying that, in the next episode, “Eric and Tara go to desperate, drastic lengths to rescue Pam.”

What Eric and Tara set their minds to will usually happen but, once we checked IMDB.com, we began to have our doubts. If you look up True Blood cast members Stephen Moyer, Ryan Kwanten, and Alexander Skarsgard on the movie/TV database site, they all show up in episode 9, entitled “Life Matters”. On the other hand, Kristin Bauer van Straten, the actress who plays Pam, shows up as having acted in her last episode for the season in episode 8, eerily entitled “A Change Is Gonna Come”.

Is this rock solid proof? Maybe not, but we think it’s fairly telling, and that it could, indeed, be Pam who dies on season six of True Blood. What do you think?
