Grab your tissues, Truebies! Talented actor Todd Lowe has been making the media rounds to talk about Terry Bellefleur’s emotional exit from True Blood.

Todd’s known since shooting the first episode of Season 6 that he wouldn’t make it to the end, but he kept it under wraps and focused on his character, mentally preparing himself for Terry’s gritty demise: “It was a tough six months, I'm not going to lie about that. Coming to work every day and kind of planning my suicide.” We bet!

Since the first season, Terry has grown from a gentle, kind-hearted cook at Merlotte’s into a heroic, responsible, and loyal husband to Arlene, working his way up from a part-time character to more major story arcs. Though Lowe admits he understands why his alter ego had to go, he says it was a “bummer,” and wished he could have spend more of this season showing Terry’s happy, quirky side.

Todd shared his complicated feelings about his character’s death saying, “I felt sorrow and grief, and now acceptance. I'm coming out of the grieving process for losing someone that I loved. I loved playing Terry.”

Lowe also added that if the producers of True Blood want him back as a ghost or in flashbacks, he wouldn’t hesitate to come back and work with the cast again. Since we loved seeing Todd play Terry, we wouldn't mind a few more doses of the sweetest Bellefleur on the show!
