True Blood’s Jessica Hamby just drained three teen faeries, but that’s not what portrayer Deborah Ann Woll wants to change about her. During a chat on KTLA this week, the actress revealed that she would love to change something more fundamental about her vampy character.

“I don’t think I would ever pick 17 — I’d be 26!” Deb exclaimed when talking about being turned into a vampire at such a young age. She admitted that 17 is probably the worst age to be turned, and Jess would have benefitted from maturing a bit.

Though she couldn’t spill much about the rest of Season 6, she did dish about another big change — to her hair! Before starting the HBO drama, she went from light blond to red since the color washed her out, plus it fit her character. However, this isn’t a high maintenance look and can be easily recreated at home — she dyes her hair at home with L'oreal products! Stars, they really are just like us.

Check out what else Deb had to say about the show and off-screen boyfriend E.J. Scott, then sound off in the comments about what you think of Jess being an older vamp.
