Poor Jess! The fiery True Blood baby vamp lost a little bit of her spark this season after she drained Andy Bellefleur’s quadruplets of their irresistible faerie blood. In fact, Jessica’s so devastated by her actions, she’s not even that distressed about meeting the True Death in vamp camp.

Deborah Ann Woll talked to TV Guide about her character’s future, saying, “She thinks she's going to die, that's what Bill foresaw. She'll save as many of her friends as she can, but I don't think she feels like she has to work too hard for herself because it's not as bad if she doesn't exist. That's a pretty dark place for her to be.”

But what about her sexy new relationship with fellow prisoner James? Deborah said that they have an important connection, and that “James will continue to bring her out of her shell and help her find her self-worth and help her find a way to suppress these darker urges.” Hooray! We’d love to see more of these two heating up the screen.

And James isn’t the only man in Jess’s (possibly short) life. The gorgeous star also hinted that the Jess/Jason saga might not be finished yet. Woll said, “... she certainly doesn't want him to die with her.” Adding, “She cares deeply for him and feels like she's hurt him more than he ever deserved to be. We'll see if they're able to come out of this.”

Unfortunately, even though Deborah talked a lot about Jessica’s state of mind, there were no hints about whether or not she’ll survive for season 7! Luckily (gulp), we don’t have to wait long for the finale episode to find out.

Do you think Jessica Hamby will survive Vamp Camp to appear in True Blood next summer? Sound off in the comments!
