If you thought the action on Season 6 of True Blood was already behind us, Anna Camp (who plays aca-awesome Sarah Newlin) warns that you couldn’t be more wrong.

Calling this Sunday’s finale “shocking,” the petite but fiery blonde told ET in a recent interview, “Fans can expect to see the vampires changing the way they can live in the world.” She goes on to say, "You've seen a little bit of that with Bill walking in daylight. I think True Blood has a certain set of rules of how the characters live in the world, but that's about to change. It expands the show in a way that will excite and interest the fans.”

Actors often talk of how they appreciate playing characters that are shocking to those around them, and Anna reveals this is totally the case with her vampire-combatting counterpart, Sarah. In her interview with ET, she recalls  how excited she was to be asked back to the show after her initial introduction during Season 2, as she always felt there was more to her story behind that quiet exterior.

Anna says she was even excited they gave her a chance to murder someone on the show (gasp!), saying, “It's right in my wheelhouse because I love playing shocking and weird moments you wouldn't expect from a character.”

Those who have criticized the show for having too many convoluted storylines the past few seasons will be happy to know that True Blood showrunner Brian Buckner says the show is “going to return back to its roots” for the just-renewed Season 7.

"We're going to condense the number of stories we're telling and make it feel like we're coming home,” the showrunner reveals.

Are you excited for the show to return for a seventh season?
