Since Season 6 of True Blood was an abbreviated season (with ten episodes instead of the usual twelve), many fans are already lamenting those long HBO hiatuses. Hey, we need our fix!

As the Season 6 finale was airing on Aug. 18, one curious Truebie even asked Deborah Ann Woll, who plays sexy baby vamp Jessica, when Season 7 starts shooting.

The actress, who has been a wealth of information on Twitter all season long, tweeted back, saying, “@TheLAAdams we will shoot season 7 either next year or later this year but no date has been set yet.” Granted, that’s not exactly an example of her “wealth of information,” but at least it’s something.

We are thrilled that the show was renewed for a seventh season, especially after finding out showrunner Brian Buckner has called for an end to the convoluted storylines, choosing, instead to return to the show’s Bon Temps roots.

"We're going to condense the number of stories we're telling and make it feel like we're coming home,” the showrunner reveals.

We can’t wait until the show returns. How about you?
